What Customers Thought of the 1tac TC1200

After purchasing the TC1200, most customers reported that the flashlight was quite bright for the size.

There are indeed brighter flashlights out there, but for the size and weight of this one, the output is a pleasant surprise for most. The clip is reported to be strong as well. Most have said that they do not use many of the functions of the light. The biggest complaint is that the flashlight is not nearly as bright when it is being used with AAA batteries. If bought separately, the rechargeable battery can be quite expensive. Although the cost of the flashlight and battery options are a bit pricey, this little flashlight is said to get the job done while fitting in the hand comfortably.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is CREE XML2?

A: The Cree XML2 is a specialized type of LED bulb that has been optimized for increased Lumen output and a single point source for easily focused light.

Q: What are Lumens?

A: Lumens are a unit of measurement used for measuring light or brightness. A standard 60-watt bulb has an output of about 800 Lumens.

Q: How useful is a magnet on a flashlight?

A: This, of course, depends on how you use the flashlight. I find that it is helpful in securing the flashlight to metal objects so that I don’t have to use my hands to hold the flashlight. It also can be used to pick up screws etc. that I drop during a project.

Q: Is the rechargeable battery better than the 3 AAA batteries?

A: Yes. The maximum output of the flashlight cannot be achieved with the 3 AAA batteries, although the flashlight is still bright either way.

Verdict

For the size of this little flashlight, it really packs a punch! Not only is the 1tac TC1200 comfortable to hold and very bright, but the aluminum alloy also makes it super durable. Overall, the 1tac TC1200 is strong, easy to use, and has a few options for customization. The life of the flashlight is very long too. One of my favorite features is that the lens and LED bulb are both removable and easy to replace.

This is definitely a plus because I am very rough with my outdoor gear. I would definitely recommend the 1tac TC1200 to anyone who is looking for a flashlight to keep around the house or to add to a toolbelt or survival pack. The only downside to this flashlight is that the rechargeable battery is a little bit on the expensive side when it is time to replace it.

All things considered; this is a great flashlight. I hope that this review has helped you to decide whether or not the 1tac TC1200 is the right light for you!
